Excellent build quality

Sturdy and portable
I bought this for my student recitals. It folds down small enough to fit in my gig bag but remains very stable on stage. The only reason for 4 stars is that the locking mechanism is a bit stiff at first.

Perfect for my Erhu performances
This stand is specifically designed for the Erhu and it shows. The clip holds the instrument securely without damaging the wood, and the height adjustment is smooth. Great for theater setups.

Good value for money
Does exactly what it says. The specialized clip fits my Erhu perfectly, unlike generic mic stands I tried before. Wish it came in silver, but black looks sleek.

Q: Can the legs be spread wider for extra stability on uneven ground?
A: Yes, the tripod legs have independent angle locks allowing you to adjust the spread width to accommodate uneven surfaces for better stability.
Q: Will this stand work with a standard dynamic microphone if I don't use the Erhu clip?
A: Yes, the top mount includes a standard 5/8 inch thread adapter, so you can attach regular microphones or remove the Erhu clip entirely for other uses.
