A wonderful family project
My teenage son and I worked on this together over the holidays. It was a fantastic bonding experience. The street scene details are lively and fun to explore. We are already looking for the next big set to tackle.

Impressive scale
The sheer size of this build is impressive. It captures the vibe of Chongqing perfectly. The only downside is that some of the internal structures feel a bit fragile during assembly, so handle with care. Once done, it is very sturdy.

Best architectural set I've built
I have built many large sets, but this one stands out for its complexity and cultural design. The layering technique used to create the cliffside effect is brilliant. No missing pieces in my box, and the fit is perfect.

Beautiful but time-consuming
The final model looks exactly like the photos and is a great centerpiece in my living room. I deducted one star only because sorting the thousands of tiny pieces took forever. Make sure you have good lighting and plenty of space before starting.

An Incredible Challenge and Reward
This set is absolutely massive. The detail on the Hongya Cave structure is stunning, especially once you add the lights. It took me about three weeks of evening building to complete. The instructions are clear, but you definitely need patience for this one. Highly recommended for serious builders.
