Good value for the price
For the price point, you get a lot of features. The timer is very useful when simmering soups. Just make sure you have magnetic pots, or it won't work.

Perfect for my dorm room!

Fast heating and safe
I love the auto-shutoff feature when no pan is detected. It gives me peace of mind when I get distracted. Heats up my stir-fry wok in seconds.
Q: Is the surface hot to the touch after cooking?
A: The surface stays relatively cool compared to electric coil stoves because it heats the pan directly via magnetism. However, residual heat from the pan may warm the glass, so caution is advised immediately after use.
Q: Does this come with a pot or do I need to buy one separately?
A: The unit is sold separately. You will need to use your own cookware made of ferrous metal (magnetic stainless steel or cast iron).
Q: What happens if I spill water on the controls while cooking?
A: The control panel has a degree of splash resistance, but we recommend wiping spills immediately. The unit also features an error code system that will shut down if moisture interferes with the sensors.
Q: How long is the power cord?
A: The integrated power cord is approximately 5 feet (1.5 meters) long, providing enough reach for most kitchen counters.
Q: Can I use this on a standard 15A household outlet?
