Reliable for industrial robotics
Using these on our robotic arms for over six months now without any failures. The 0.2mm conductors are fine but robust enough for our application. Would give 5 stars if the lead time was shorter.

Best value for shielded encoder cable

Great flexibility, slightly stiff jacket
The internal wiring is incredibly flexible and handles the drag chain movement perfectly. The outer PUR jacket is durable but a bit stiffer than expected during initial installation. Once routed, it performs flawlessly.

Solved our noise interference problems
Our factory floor has a lot of VFD noise. Switching to this TRVVPPS cable with group independent shielding cleaned up our encoder signals immediately. No more random faults or position errors.

Perfect for high-speed encoder applications
We installed these cables on our CNC machines running at high cycle rates. The independent shielding for each pair has completely eliminated cross-talk issues we were facing with previous cables. Highly recommended for precision motion control.
Q: Is the outer jacket resistant to cooling lubricants and oils?
A: Yes, the special PUR (Polyurethane) outer jacket provides excellent resistance to oils, coolants, and most chemicals commonly found in industrial manufacturing environments.
Q: Does the 16-core version maintain the same bending radius as the 4-core version?
A: While the construction technology is the same, the bending radius is calculated based on the final outer diameter of the specific core count. The 16-core cable will have a larger outer diameter and thus a larger minimum bending radius than the 4-core version. Please refer to the datasheet for specific measurements per core count.
Q: What is the difference between 'group independently shielded' and standard overall shielding?
A: In this cable, every twisted pair has its own aluminum foil shield and drain wire. This prevents crosstalk between pairs within the same cable, ensuring signal integrity for multiple encoder channels, whereas overall shielding only protects against external interference.
