A: While fluoroplastic has good weather resistance, prolonged direct UV exposure may eventually affect the jacket. For permanent outdoor installations, we recommend using a conduit or selecting a cable with a specific UV-resistant outer jacket.

Q: Can this wire be soldered easily given the Teflon insulation?

A: Yes, the tin-plated copper conductors solder very easily. The FEP insulation has a high melting point, so it resists heat shrinkage during standard soldering processes, making termination clean and simple.
