Good quality, fast shipping
The build quality feels solid. I ordered the 4-core 0.75mm² version. The only reason for 4 stars is that the outer jacket was slightly scuffed on one end, but it didn't affect performance.

Great value for money
Compared to local suppliers, the price here is much better for the same specification. The tinned copper conductors are a nice touch for corrosion resistance.

Solid choice for control wiring
Using this for HVAC control systems. It strips cleanly and terminates well in terminal blocks. Would have given 5 stars if the spool labeling was clearer.

Perfect for industrial automation
Used this cable for connecting our PLC sensors. The shielding is excellent and eliminated all previous noise issues on the line. Very flexible and easy to route through conduits.
Q: Are these cables sold by the meter or on fixed length spools?
A: We offer both options. You can select a custom cut length by the meter from the dropdown menu, or choose pre-packaged spools of 100m or 500m for larger projects.
Q: What is the maximum recommended distance for RS485 with this cable?
A: For standard RS485 communication at 9600 baud, you can typically achieve up to 1200 meters. Higher baud rates will reduce the maximum effective distance. Proper termination resistors are required.
Q: Does the shield need to be grounded on both ends?
A: Generally, for RS485 applications, it is best practice to ground the shield at one end only to prevent ground loops, unless specific equipment manuals state otherwise. Consult your system integrator for your specific setup.
Q: Is this cable suitable for outdoor installation?
A: While the PVC jacket offers some protection, for direct burial or prolonged exposure to sunlight, we recommend running this cable inside a protective conduit or using our specific outdoor-rated UV-resistant variant.
Q: Can I use the 0.5mm² version for power supply as well as data?
A: This cable is designed primarily for low-voltage control and data signals. While it can carry small currents, please check your device's current requirements against the ampacity of 0.5mm² wire to avoid overheating.
