Great machine, minor learning curve
The stitching quality is excellent on woven polypropylene bags. It took about 10 minutes to get the tension right, but once set, it runs smoothly. Highly recommend for small businesses.

Essential tool for packaging
We switched from manual tying to this machine and saved hours of labor. The chain stitch is strong and doesn't unravel easily. Very satisfied with the Yamamoto brand.

Reliable and fast
I use this daily for packing animal feed. It seals bags securely and quickly. The motor is powerful enough to handle multiple layers without jamming. Best purchase this year.

Compact and efficient
Love how lightweight this is compared to industrial stationary models. Fits perfectly in our mobile packing unit. The carrying case is also very durable.

Perfect for our warehouse operations
We bought three of these for sealing grain sacks and they work flawlessly. The portability is a huge plus as we can move them between stations easily. Very sturdy construction.

Good value for money
Does exactly what it says. Seals woven sacks tightly. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the instruction manual could be more detailed regarding oiling schedules.
Q: Does it come with a foot pedal for speed control?
A: Yes, the package includes an adjustable foot pedal that allows you to control the sewing speed precisely based on your pressure.
Q: How often does the machine need lubrication?
A: For heavy daily use, we suggest adding a few drops of sewing machine oil to the designated points before starting work each day. A full cleaning and oiling should be done weekly.
Q: What kind of thread should be used with this machine?
A: We recommend using high-quality polyester or cotton-wrapped polyester thread specifically designed for bag closing machines to ensure durability and prevent breakage.
Q: Is replacement parts availability good for this model?
A: Yes, the GK9 series is a standard industrial model, and common wear parts like needles, loopers, and feed dogs are widely available through our store and authorized dealers.
Q: Can this machine sew cotton canvas bags or only woven polypropylene?
A: The GK9-200 is optimized for woven polypropylene sacks, but it can also handle cotton canvas and burlap bags up to a moderate thickness. Ensure you use the correct needle size for the fabric type.
