Perfect for My Small Apartment

Good Value for Heavy Duty Tasks
For the price, this is an amazing deal. It struggles slightly with very thick leather seams, but for standard heavy-duty home tasks like curtains and upholstery, it is perfect. The portable case is a nice bonus.

Great Machine, Needs Cleaning
The sewing performance is excellent once you get it set up. Since it is a vintage-style unit, I had to clean out some old grease and oil it before first use. Now it runs smoothly and quietly. The foot pedal gives great speed control.

Exceeded Expectations
I was hesitant about buying a 'vintage style' machine, thinking it might be a gimmick, but the construction is solid metal. It vibrates less than my previous electronic machine and produces very even stitches.

A: It is designed for heavy-duty fabrics like denim and canvas. While it can handle thin to medium-weight leather, we do not recommend it for thick industrial leather projects.
Q: What type of needle does this use?
A: This machine uses standard household sewing machine needles (system 130/705 H), which are widely available at any craft or fabric store.
Q: How do I adjust the stitch length?
A: There is a manual lever or dial located on the side or front of the machine head that allows you to mechanically adjust the stitch length from very fine to long basting stitches.
Q: Does this machine come with a carrying case?
A: Yes, this model typically includes a portable wooden or metal carrying case with a handle, making it easy to store or transport.
