Reliable daily driver
Been using this for minor alterations around the house. The foot pedal is responsive, and changing presser feet is very intuitive. Highly recommend for home use.

Great value for the price
Solid little machine. It's compact enough to fit on my small desk but powerful enough for hemming pants and making simple curtains. The light could be brighter, but otherwise excellent.

Love the compact design
Living in an apartment, space is premium. This machine folds away easily and doesn't take up much room. The stitch quality is consistent and professional looking.

Exceeded expectations
The Butterfly M21 is surprisingly robust. I've used it for three weeks straight on various projects including pillowcases and tote bags. No jams or skipped stitches so far.

Good but limited for heavy fabrics
Works great on light to medium fabrics. However, it struggles a bit with thick denim or multiple layers. For basic household repairs and light crafting, it is perfect.

Perfect for beginners!
I bought this for my daughter who is just learning to sew. The automatic threading feature is a lifesaver, and it handles cotton fabric beautifully. Very quiet operation too.
Q: Can this machine sew through thick jeans?
A: The M21 is designed for light to medium-weight fabrics. While it can handle a single layer of denim for hemming, it is not recommended for thick multi-layer denim or heavy upholstery work.
Q: What type of bobbins does this use?
A: This model uses standard Class 15 plastic bobbins, which are widely available at most craft stores and online retailers.
Q: Does it come with a carrying case?
A: No, the standard package does not include a hard carrying case, but the machine is lightweight and easy to transport. A soft dust cover is included in the box.
Q: Can I adjust the stitch length and width?
A: Yes, both stitch length and zigzag width are fully adjustable via the dials on the front panel, allowing you to customize your stitching for different fabrics.
Q: Is the needle threader fully automatic?
A: Yes, the M21 features an automatic needle threading system that makes setup quick and easy, especially for users with vision difficulties.
