Perfect for my Arduino clap switch project

This module works exactly as described. The sensitivity adjustment pot makes it very easy to tune for specific environments. I used it to build a lamp that turns on with a clap, and the response time is instant.

Excellent for learning electronics

Works well but range varies

Solid module overall. Just keep in mind that the detection range heavily depends on how loud the sound source is. For a normal whistle, it picks it up from about 4 meters away in a quiet room.

Good value, needs calibration

Great little sensor for the price. Out of the box, it was a bit too sensitive, but after turning the potentiometer slightly, it works perfectly for detecting whistles without triggering on background noise.
