Perfect for Arduino voice projects
This module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The signal is clean and the gain adjustment potentiometer makes it easy to tune sensitivity for different environments. Highly recommended for beginners.

Great value for money
Bought five of these for a classroom workshop. All of them worked out of the box. The build quality is solid and the electret mic picks up voices clearly from about 2 meters away.

Compact and efficient
Small footprint makes it easy to integrate into tight spaces. I'm using it in a wearable project powered by a 3.3V ESP32, and it performs perfectly without any level shifting needed.

Works well after calibration
Initially, the output was a bit noisy, but after adjusting the gain pot and adding a small capacitor across the power lines, the signal became very stable. Good product for the price.

Good quality, clear output
The audio output is surprisingly clear for such a small module. I used it for a sound-activated LED project. Only minor issue is that the pins are not labeled on the back, so check the silkscreen carefully.
Q: Can I use this with a Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, but since the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins do not have built-in Analog-to-Digital converters (ADC), you will need an external ADC chip (like MCP3008) to read the analog output from this module.
Q: What is the maximum distance this microphone can detect sound?
A: Detection range depends on the sound source volume and your gain settings. Typically, it can clearly pick up normal conversation within 1 to 3 meters. For louder sounds, the range increases significantly.
Q: Can this module be directly connected to a 5V Arduino pin?
A: Yes, the module operates between 2.7V and 5.5V, so it is fully compatible with 5V Arduino boards like the Uno or Mega. Just connect VCC to 5V, GND to GND, and OUT to an analog input pin.
