Solved my heat creep issues

Essential for flexible materials
If you print TPU or other flexible filaments, this long throat is a must-have. It provides enough distance to prevent softening before the nozzle.

Good quality, slightly tight thread
The stainless steel feels very durable. The M6 thread was a bit tight initially but loosened up after a few uses. Great value.

Perfect fit for my MK8 setup
The threading is precise and the length options allowed me to customize my hotend perfectly. No more clogs with flexible filaments.
Q: Is the 50mm version compatible with standard E3D V6 hotends?
A: This tube is specifically designed for Makerbot MK8 extruders. While it shares M6 threading, the length and shoulder design may not fit E3D V6 blocks without modification.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this tube can withstand?
A: Made from high-grade stainless steel, it can safely withstand temperatures up to 300°C, suitable for most common filaments including ABS and Nylon.
Q: Does this come with a brass nozzle included?
A: No, this listing is for the long throat tube only. The nozzle is sold separately.
Q: Can I use this for printing carbon fiber filled PLA?
A: Yes, the stainless steel construction is durable enough for abrasive filaments like carbon fiber filled PLA, though we recommend using a hardened steel nozzle as well.
