Precise threading
The threads are cut very cleanly. No cross-threading issues when installing them into aluminum blocks. Essential hardware for any workshop.

Exactly what I needed
Replaced some stripped zinc screws with these 304 stainless ones. Much better durability and the headless design saves space in tight assemblies.

Good value pack
Bought the M4 size for a DIY project. They are sturdy and the hex socket didn't strip even with tight torque. Would have liked a storage case included.

Solid little screws
Works exactly as described. The cone point digs in nicely to hold the collar in place on my motor shaft. Delivery was fast too.

Perfect for machinery repair
These grub screws fit perfectly in my lathe setup. The cone point grips the shaft well without slipping, and the stainless steel quality is evident.
Q: Do these come with the Allen key needed to install them?
A: No, the set screws are sold separately without tools. Please ensure you have the appropriate metric hex key for the size you purchase.
Q: Can the cone point damage a soft brass shaft?
A: Yes, the cone point is designed to dig slightly into the shaft for grip. For soft materials like brass, consider using a cup point or flat point screw to minimize marking.
Q: Is the thread pitch standard for metric sizes?
A: Yes, all our metric set screws feature standard coarse thread pitches corresponding to their respective diameters (e.g., M4x0.7).
Q: What is the length of the M6 screws in this listing?
A: This listing includes various lengths for each diameter. Please select your specific required length from the dropdown menu before adding to cart.
Q: Are these suitable for use in saltwater environments?
A: While 304 Stainless Steel offers good corrosion resistance, 316 Stainless Steel is generally recommended for direct or prolonged exposure to saltwater.
