Nice finish but check sizing

The gold color is very nice and not too brassy. Just make sure you select the right length for your frame depth; the 3x10 was perfect for my 1-inch deep frames.

Good quality, sharp tips

A: Yes, they are self-tapping and work well on most hardwoods, though we recommend pre-drilling a small pilot hole for very dense woods like oak or maple to prevent splitting.

Q: Are these rust-proof for outdoor frames?

A: These are designed for indoor use. While they have some corrosion resistance, we do not recommend them for outdoor applications where they will be exposed to rain or high humidity.

Q: What screwdriver bit size fits these best?

A: A standard PH2 (Phillips #2) driver bit is the ideal size for these screws and provides the best grip to avoid cam-out.

Q: Can I buy just the 3x12mm size separately?

A: Currently, these are only sold as an assorted kit containing all four sizes. Please check our bulk hardware section for single-size options in the future.

Q: Is the gold finish real gold plating?
