Solid Commercial Grade Equipment
Bought this for a small studio. It handles heavy daily usage without any issues. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the monitor batteries died quickly, but replacing them was easy.

Great Machine, Takes Up Space
The rower itself is fantastic. My only hesitation is the length; even when stored upright, it requires a decent amount of ceiling height or floor space. Otherwise, the workout is unbeatable.

Perfect for HIIT Workouts
I use this primarily for high-intensity interval training. The flywheel spins up instantly, and the damper lever allows for easy adjustment between sessions. The Bluetooth connectivity with fitness apps is a huge plus.

Smooth and Durable

The Gold Standard for a Reason
I've used rowers at various gyms for years, and finally decided to buy one for home. The build quality is exceptional, and the PM5 monitor tracks everything I need. It's quiet enough for my apartment but provides an intense workout.
Q: Is the seat comfortable for long rows?
A: The seat is contoured for stability and performance. While some users prefer extra cushioning for very long distances, most find the standard seat adequate. Aftermarket gel covers are available if additional comfort is needed.
Q: What is the difference between the damper setting and resistance levels on other machines?
A: Unlike magnetic rowers with preset levels, the damper on the RowErg controls airflow into the flywheel cage, similar to gears on a bicycle. It changes the feel of the stroke rather than the actual resistance, which is determined by how hard you pull.

A: Yes, the PM5 monitor features both Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ connectivity. You can easily pair it with the Concept2 ErgData app, which then syncs to Apple Health, Strava, and other popular fitness platforms.

A: No, the RowErg is powered entirely by your own effort. The PM5 monitor uses D-cell batteries or a USB cable if you prefer to plug it in, but the resistance mechanism is purely mechanical air resistance.
