Essential for aquarium hobbyists
Floating thermometers are great because they don't take up space on the glass. This one is lightweight and the dial is very clear. Highly recommend for freshwater tanks.

Good for koi pond monitoring
I bought this for my koi pond to ensure the water stays within a safe range for the fish. It works well, though I wish the numbers were slightly larger for viewing from a distance.

Great visibility
The contrast between the white background and the black numbers makes it very easy to read even in bright sunlight. Lost one star because the suction cup option would have been nice too.

Decent but basic
It does exactly what it says on the tin. Nothing fancy, just a simple analog thermometer. It gets the job done for checking bathwater temperature for the kids.

Sturdy and reliable
We have had this in our spa for three months now, through rain and sun, and it still looks brand new. The floating mechanism is stable and doesn't tip over easily.

Perfect for my backyard pool
This thermometer floats nicely and is very easy to read from the pool deck. The temperature readings seem accurate compared to my digital tester. Great value for the price.
Q: Does it come with batteries?
A: No, this is an analog mechanical thermometer, so it does not require any batteries to operate.
Q: Can I leave this in the pool during winter?
A: We recommend removing the thermometer if there is a risk of the water freezing solid, as expansion could damage the glass internal component.
Q: How do I clean the thermometer if algae grows on it?
A: Simply rinse it with fresh water and gently wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers.
Q: What is the lowest temperature it can measure accurately?
A: The scale starts at 0°C (32°F). While it can physically go lower, accuracy is guaranteed within the 0°C to 50°C range.
Q: Is this thermometer suitable for saltwater pools?
A: Yes, the materials used are corrosion-resistant and safe for use in both freshwater and saltwater environments.
