Best bang for your buck
I have used this for three seasons now. A little goes a long way. It keeps the algae at bay much longer than the standard chlorine shocks alone. Will buy again.

Excellent for clearing green pools
This copper sulfate worked wonders on my algae problem. The crystals dissolved quickly and the water cleared up within 24 hours. Great value for the price compared to liquid algaecides.

Solid product for maintenance

Works but requires caution
The product does what it says, but you really need to follow the dosage instructions strictly. I added a bit too much initially and had to dilute the pool. Effective but handle with care.

Q: What protective gear should I wear when handling these crystals?
A: We strongly recommend wearing chemical-resistant gloves, safety goggles, and a dust mask when handling the crystals to prevent skin irritation, eye contact, or inhalation of dust.
Q: How much of this product should I add to a 10,000-gallon pool?
A: For general algae prevention, we recommend adding approximately 0.5 to 1 pound per 10,000 gallons, depending on current water conditions. Always test your water first and follow local safety guidelines.
Q: Does this expire or lose potency over time?
A: If stored in a cool, dry place with the container tightly sealed, Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate has an indefinite shelf life. It may clump if exposed to humidity but remains chemically effective once dissolved.
Q: Is this safe to use if I have fish in an attached pond?
A: No, copper sulfate is highly toxic to aquatic life including fish and invertebrates. Do not use this product if your pool drains into or is connected to a natural pond or waterway containing fish.
