Good for fruit trees too
Bought this primarily for my pool but used some to make a Bordeaux mixture for my peach trees. It handled the fungal issues well. Just be careful with dosage.

Standard agricultural grade
We use this on our farm for various fungicide applications. The quality is consistent, and the crystals dissolve quickly in water for spraying.

Works but stains clothes
The product does what it says for algae control, but I accidentally got some on my shirt and it left a permanent blue stain. Wear old clothes when handling!

Crystal clear results
My pond was overrun with string algae. A small amount of these crystals cleared it up without harming the fish when used as directed. Highly recommend.

Excellent for stubborn algae
This copper sulfate worked wonders on my green pool. Within 24 hours of application, the algae was dead and easy to vacuum. Great value for the price.

Effective algaecide
Very potent stuff. You only need a little bit. Make sure you test your water chemistry afterwards to ensure copper levels don't get too high.
Q: Will this harm my koi fish if I use it in my pond?
A: Copper sulfate can be toxic to fish if overdosed. It is crucial to calculate the volume of your pond accurately and follow dosage instructions strictly. Some species are more sensitive than others.
Q: How do I prepare a Bordeaux mixture with this product?
A: Bordeaux mixture is typically made by mixing copper sulfate with hydrated lime and water. Please refer to agricultural extension guidelines for specific ratios based on the crop you are treating.
Q: Can I use this directly in a swimming pool with people in it?
A: No, you should never add chemicals to a pool while swimmers are present. Add the dissolved solution when the pool is empty of swimmers and allow adequate circulation time before re-entry.
Q: Does this product expire?
A: If stored in a sealed container in a dry environment, copper sulfate crystals have an indefinite shelf life as they do not degrade over time. However, clumping may occur if exposed to humidity.
Q: What protective gear should I wear when handling this?
A: We recommend wearing chemical-resistant gloves, safety goggles, and a mask to avoid inhaling dust. Long sleeves and pants are also advised to prevent skin contact.
