Good quality, slightly tight tolerance
The build quality is excellent, and the composite liner feels durable. I had to press the 28mm bearing in with a bit more force than expected, but once seated, it operates smoothly. Great value for the price.

A: While the material is corrosion-resistant, the SF1 composite is designed for general industrial use. For continuous submersion, we recommend checking specific chemical compatibility charts or contacting support for marine-grade alternatives.
Q: What is the recommended shaft tolerance for the 25mm size?
A: For optimal performance with the 25mm inner diameter, we recommend a shaft tolerance of f7 or g6 to ensure proper clearance and smooth rotation without excessive play.
Q: Do I need to apply grease during installation?
A: No, the SF1 bearing features a self-lubricating PTFM composite liner. Applying external grease is not necessary and may attract dust in certain environments, though a light film can be used if desired for initial break-in.
Q: Is the copper sleeve visible on the outside?
A: The exterior is typically a steel back with a thin copper anti-corrosion layer that may appear bronze-colored. The interior sliding surface is the dark composite liner.
Q: Can this handle misalignment issues?
