US Quality shows
You can tell these are made in the USA. The edges are smooth, no burrs, and every pick in the pack feels identical. Highly recommended.

Industry standard for a reason
Been using Dunlop Tortex for twenty years. This specific model offers the perfect balance of flexibility and rigidity for jazz comping.

Good but not for strumming
Excellent for lead lines and single notes, but I find them a bit too stiff for aggressive acoustic strumming. Stick to thinner gauges for that.

Great grip, slightly thick
I love the matte finish on these; they never get slippery even during long sessions. They are a bit thicker than I usually use, but great for rhythm.

My go-to pick
The small turtle shape is underrated. It gives you precise control near the bridge. These yellow ones are my absolute favorite.

Perfect for fast playing
These Tortex picks are incredibly consistent. The small turtle shape fits my hand perfectly and allows for rapid alternate picking without slipping.
Q: Can I use these for ukulele?
A: Yes, you can, but keep in mind that the 1.14mm thickness is quite rigid and might produce a louder, brighter sound than typical felt or thin plastic uke picks.
Q: How many picks come in one package?
A: This listing is for a standard pack containing 12 individual Tortex 418 picks.
Q: Are these picks suitable for bass guitar?
A: While primarily designed for electric and acoustic guitars, many bass players enjoy using thicker Tortex picks like the 1.14mm for a sharper attack.
Q: Do these wear down quickly?
A: Tortex material is known for its durability. Compared to nylon picks, these tend to last significantly longer before losing their tip shape.
Q: Is the thickness exactly 1.14mm for every pick?
A: Dunlop maintains tight tolerances, so while there may be microscopic variations, they are functionally identical at 1.14mm.
