Perfect for my high school band student

This piccolo is incredibly durable and stays in tune well even with temperature changes. The synthetic wood body is much lighter than traditional grenadilla, which helps younger players hold it correctly for longer periods.

Survived a drop!

My son accidentally dropped this on the concrete during band practice. Unlike wooden piccolos that would have cracked, this synthetic one didn't even get a scratch. It still plays perfectly. Best investment for clumsy kids.

Solid intermediate choice

Upgraded from a plastic student model to this. The difference in tone color is noticeable. It requires less air resistance than metal piccolos, making long passages easier to manage. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Good, but case could be better

The instrument itself plays very well and has a nice response in the third octave. However, the included hard case feels a bit flimsy compared to other brands. I ended up buying a separate gig bag for extra protection.
