Great value for the features

SDK is robust but needs documentation
Bought this specifically for the 248-channel development kit. The API works well once you figure out the examples, but the English documentation could be more detailed. Great value for custom integration projects though.

Good hardware, average software UI
The recording quality is crystal clear on both lines. However, the user interface for searching recordings feels a bit dated. Functionality is there, but it could be more intuitive.

Perfect for our small office setup
We needed a simple way to record two landlines without changing our existing phone system. This Zipei box plugged right in and started recording immediately. The pop-up display is a nice touch for seeing who is calling while reviewing logs.

Excellent audio clarity
Audio separation between the two lines is perfect. No crosstalk issues at all. We use this for training purposes and the sound quality makes it easy to hear every word.
Q: Can I access the recordings remotely over the internet?
A: The device stores files locally on the connected PC. To access them remotely, you would need to set up file sharing on the host computer or use third-party remote desktop software.
Q: Is the SDK compatible with Python or only C++?
A: The primary SDK libraries are provided in C++ and C#, but many developers have successfully created Python wrappers to interface with the DLLs for custom applications.
Q: Does the pop-up display work on dual monitor setups?
A: Yes, the pop-up notification can be configured to appear on either the primary or secondary monitor through the software settings menu.
Q: Does this device work with VoIP phones or only analog lines?
A: This specific model is designed for traditional analog telephone lines (PSTN). It connects via RJ11 jacks. For pure VoIP recording, you would need our network-based recording solutions.
Q: What happens if the computer goes to sleep mode?
