Solid build quality

Reliable and discreet
We use this in our customer service office. It's compact and sits quietly behind the phone. The voice activation feature works well, so it doesn't record long periods of silence, saving space on the memory card. Highly recommended for landline users.

Great value, simple setup
I was worried about needing a computer running 24/7 to record calls, but this unit works independently. Setup took less than five minutes. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the manual could be slightly more detailed regarding file organization on the SD card.

Works well but needs good SD card
The recorder itself is fine, but make sure you buy a high-quality MicroSD card. I initially used an old, slow card and experienced some gaps in recording. After switching to a Class 10 card, it has been flawless. Good product once you have the right accessories.

No computer hassle
Exactly what I needed. My old system required a laptop to be on all the time. This Jianertek box just handles everything on its own. Transferring files to my computer later is as easy as pulling the SD card out or using the USB cable.

Perfect for small business records
This device does exactly what it says. I plugged it in between my wall jack and the phone, inserted a memory card, and it started recording immediately. No software installation was needed. The audio quality is clear enough to hear both sides of the conversation distinctly.
Q: Does it record both sides of the conversation clearly?
A: Yes, the device is designed to capture both the incoming and outgoing audio channels clearly when installed correctly between the phone base and the wall jack.
Q: Does this device work with VoIP phones connected to an analog adapter?
A: Yes, as long as the VoIP adapter provides a standard analog RJ11 port, the AR100 can be connected inline to record calls.
Q: What happens if the power goes out? Will recordings be lost?
A: The device has an internal backup battery that allows it to continue recording for a short period during a power outage. Files saved to the SD card prior to the outage remain safe.
Q: Can I listen to recordings directly on the device without a computer?
A: No, the AR100 does not have a built-in speaker or screen for playback. You must remove the MicroSD card or connect the device via USB to a computer to listen to the files.
Q: Is there a monthly subscription fee for using this recorder?
A: No, there are absolutely no monthly fees or subscriptions. Once you purchase the hardware and provide your own MicroSD card, the service is free to use indefinitely.
