Effective but takes getting used to
It definitely stops the hooking motion. My daughter complained for the first two days, but now her handwriting is much neater. Good product overall.

A bit bulky for small hands

Great for my first grader
My son used to hook his wrist terribly when writing. This grip forced him into the correct position immediately. It's soft and doesn't hurt his fingers.
