No more bent spikes

A: Although made of 304 stainless steel which is corrosion-resistant, we recommend rinsing it with fresh water after each use in saltwater to maximize its lifespan.

A: No, this model does not come with a top cap. It is an open-top design for quick rod insertion and removal.

Q: Will this fit a rod with a reel seat diameter of 28mm?

A: Yes, the tube diameter is 32mm, which comfortably accommodates rod handles and reel seats up to 30mm in diameter.

Q: Is this suitable for rocky terrain or just sand?

A: While designed primarily for sand and soft soil, the sharpened tip can penetrate compacted earth. However, we do not recommend forcing it into solid rock as it may damage the tip.

Q: What is the maximum rod weight this can support?

A: Due to the thickened walls and deep ground insertion, it can safely support rods and reels weighing up to 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs) in normal conditions.
