Works well on sandy beaches

Took these out for some surf casting. The wide feet prevent them from sinking too deep into the sand. Very stable even with a heavier sea rod attached. Highly recommended for beach anglers.

Compact and easy to carry

Perfect for hiking to remote fishing spots. They fold down very small and add negligible weight to my backpack. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the leg locks can be a bit stiff when new.

Decent for light fishing

These work fine for panfish and light trout fishing. However, I wouldn't trust them with a heavy-duty rod fighting a large catfish. For the price and the extra free unit, they are acceptable for casual use.
