Perfect drop-in replacement
My original hotend started giving inconsistent temperature readings after a year of heavy use. This assembly was incredibly easy to install on my P1P. The print quality is back to perfect immediately, and the thermistor seems very accurate.

Good quality but pricey
The build quality is excellent and it fits perfectly. My only complaint is the price compared to buying individual components, but the convenience of having the whole pre-assembled unit saves a lot of time and frustration.

Essential spare part
Every Bambu owner should have one of these in their toolkit. When your hotend fails, you don't want to wait for shipping. This assembly is identical to the original and performs flawlessly with PLA and PETG.

Works well, packaging could be better
The hotend itself works great and prints are smooth. However, the packaging was a bit flimsy, and the box arrived slightly dented. Fortunately, the component inside was protected well enough and undamaged.

Solid upgrade

Restored my printer to life
Had a clog that I couldn't clear in the old hotend. Swapped this in within 15 minutes. The ceramic heater heats up very quickly and maintains temperature stability even during high-speed prints. Highly recommended for P1S owners.
Q: Does this come with a nozzle wrench?
A: No, this package contains only the pre-assembled hotend unit with the nozzle already installed. You will need your own tools if you wish to change the nozzle later.
Q: How difficult is the installation process?
A: It is designed to be user-friendly. You typically need to remove the top cover, disconnect two cables and one fan duct, unscrew two bolts, and swap the unit. Most users complete it in under 20 minutes without special tools.
Q: Can this handle ABS filament temperatures?
A: Yes, the ceramic heating plate is rated up to 300°C, which is sufficient for printing ABS, ASA, and other high-temperature engineering filaments supported by the P1P/S enclosure.
Q: Is the thermistor calibrated before shipping?
A: Yes, each unit undergoes factory testing to ensure the thermistor readings are within standard tolerance ranges. However, we always recommend running a flow calibration and temperature tower test after installation for optimal results.
Q: Is this compatible with the X1 Carbon as well?
A: This specific assembly is designed and tested for the P1P and P1S models. While the X1 Carbon uses a similar hotend architecture, we recommend checking the specific X1 part number to ensure firmware and sensor compatibility.
