Perfect upgrade for my Strat copy
The shielding on this kit is fantastic. The aluminum foil lining really cut down the hum in my bedroom studio. Installation was straightforward with the pre-wired harness.

Good starter kit
Bought this to restore an old project guitar. Everything fit nicely. The wiring diagram included was clear. Only minor issue was one screw hole was slightly off, but easily fixed.

Excellent shielding performance

Noise reduction is real

Solid construction

Great value, nice tone
For the price, you can't beat this. The celluloid pickguard looks authentic and thick. The pickups sound bright and clear, though I had to adjust the height slightly to balance the strings.
Q: Does this kit include the volume and tone pots?
A: Yes, this complete wiring kit includes pre-soldered potentiometers, capacitors, and the output jack along with the pickups and pickguard.
Q: Will this fit a Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster?
A: Generally yes, as it follows standard ST dimensions. However, we always recommend measuring your existing pickguard screw holes before purchasing to ensure a perfect fit.
Q: What is the magnet type used in these pickups?
A: These adjustable single-coil pickups utilize Alnico V magnets, providing a classic, bright, and articulate tone characteristic of ST style guitars.
Q: Can I use this for a left-handed guitar?
A: The electronics are symmetrical, but the pickguard shape is designed for right-handed models. It will not fit a left-handed contour without significant modification.
Q: Is the aluminum foil grounded automatically?
A: The foil has a contact tab that must be soldered to the back of the volume pot or the common ground point during installation to function correctly as a shield.
