Good value for integrated solution
Buying this integrated cable was cheaper than buying separate power and network lines. Installation was straightforward. Took off one star only because the cut length wasn't exactly as specified, but it was close enough.

Professional grade material

Great quality, slightly stiff
The build quality is excellent and feels very durable against the elements. It is a bit stiffer than standard ethernet cables due to the extra power cores, but that's expected. Once installed, it works flawlessly.

Perfect for outdoor camera setup
This cable made installing my backyard security cameras so much easier. Having power and data in one waterproof line saved me hours of drilling and running separate wires. The oxygen-free copper ensures a stable signal even over long distances.
Q: Can I bury this cable directly in the ground?
A: While the cable is waterproof and UV resistant, for direct burial we strongly recommend placing it inside a protective conduit to prevent damage from rodents, shovels, or soil pressure over time. This ensures the longest lifespan for your installation.
Q: Does this come with connectors pre-attached?
A: No, this product is sold as bulk cable by the meter/foot to allow for custom lengths. You will need to terminate the ends yourself using RJ45 connectors for the data lines and appropriate terminals for the power lines.
Q: What is the maximum recommended length for stable 1080p video transmission?
A: For optimal performance with 1080p or 4K surveillance footage, we recommend keeping the cable run under 100 meters (328 feet), which is the standard limit for Ethernet signals. The oxygen-free copper helps maintain signal integrity up to this limit.
Q: Is the jacket flexible enough to run through tight conduits?
A: The jacket is durable and weather-resistant, which makes it slightly less flexible than indoor-only cables. However, it can still be routed through standard 3/4 inch conduits. We recommend using lubricant for runs with multiple sharp bends.
Q: Can this cable support PoE (Power over Ethernet) switches?
A: Yes, this cable is designed to carry both data and power. While it has dedicated power cores, it is fully compatible with standard PoE setups if you choose to utilize the data pairs for power transmission, though the dedicated 2-core power line is recommended for higher power demands.
