Perfect accent cymbal
Bought the 10-inch accent for quick punctuation in funk grooves. It responds instantly to light touches and has a quick decay. Exactly what I needed.

Best upgrade I've made
Upgraded my entry-level kit with these copper alloy cymbals and it sounds like a completely different instrument. The sustain is controlled and musical.

Solid construction
These feel very durable. The lathing is clean and the bell is well-defined. Took off one star because the finish had a minor smudge upon arrival, but it doesn't affect the sound.

Great hi-hats, slightly heavy
The chick sound is crisp and the foot closure is tight. They are a bit heavier than I expected for a medium-thin classification, but once broken in, they sing beautifully.

Studio quality sound
Recorded an entire album with these Meisi cymbals. The complex overtones translate perfectly to microphones without needing excessive EQ. Highly recommended for studio work.

Incredible warmth for the price
I was skeptical about switching from my major brand cymbals, but the Meisi crash has a beautiful dark tone that cuts through the mix without being harsh. The hammering marks are distinct and add to the aesthetic.
Q: What is the difference between the Traditional and Brilliant finish?
A: This specific model features the Traditional finish which offers a darker, drier sound. The Brilliant finish (available on other models) is polished for a brighter, more shimmering tone.
Q: How long does the break-in period usually take?
A: Most players notice the cymbals opening up and developing their full complexity after about 2 to 3 weeks of regular playing.
Q: Can I use these hi-hats with a standard clutch?
A: Absolutely. These hi-hats feature a standard center hole size compatible with all major brand hi-hat stands and clutches.
Q: Do these come with a protective bag?
A: The cymbals are shipped in secure, padded packaging to prevent damage during transit, but a dedicated carrying gig bag is sold separately.
Q: Are these cymbals suitable for loud rock gigs?
A: Yes, while they have a warm character, the B20 bronze alloy provides enough volume and projection for live rock performances, especially the crash and ride models.
