Studio ready sound
Used these for a recording session last week. The engineer loved the focused sound; we didn't need much EQ or dampening. Will definitely buy again.

Perfect for my Yamaha Jazz Kit
These heads fit my Yamaha snare perfectly. The frosted option gives a beautiful warm tone that cuts through the mix without being too bright. Highly recommended for jazz players.

Good, but not for heavy rock
These are great for jazz and light pop, but if you are a heavy hitter playing rock, you might want something thicker. They hold tune well though.

Great sound, slightly stiff at first
The double-layer construction provides excellent durability. They felt a bit stiff out of the box but settled in after about an hour of playing. The clear version looks very professional.

Smooth and responsive
The brush work on the frosted surface is incredible. Very smooth texture and the response is immediate. A fantastic upgrade for any snare drum.

Best value for money
I've tried expensive brands before, but these offer comparable quality at a fraction of the price. The overtone control is impressive right out of the package.
Q: How long do these drumheads typically last with regular practice?
A: With regular practice (3-4 times a week), users typically report 3 to 6 months of optimal performance before needing replacement, depending on playing style and stick type.
Q: What is the difference between the transparent and frosted versions?
A: The transparent (clear) version offers a slightly brighter attack and more visual appeal of the shell. The frosted (coated) version provides a warmer tone, better brush response, and reduced high-frequency overtones.
Q: Can I use these on the bottom (resonant) side of the drum?
A: These are designed specifically as batter heads (top side). For the resonant side, we recommend using a single-ply clear head for maximum resonance and sensitivity.
Q: Do these heads fit standard 14-inch snares from other brands?
A: While optimized for Yamaha hoops, these heads feature a standard 14-inch diameter and should fit most major brand snare drums with standard hoop configurations.
Q: Are these heads pre-stretched?
A: Yes, our manufacturing process includes a pre-stretching phase to ensure better tuning stability and faster break-in time upon installation.
