Nice aesthetic touch
Small change, big difference in feel. The metal adds a nice weight to the toggle action. Took off one star because the screw included was slightly shorter than I expected, but my old one worked fine.

Works on 5-way too
Despite the description mentioning 3-position primarily, I installed this on my Strat with a 5-way switch without any issues. Looks fantastic.

Great look, tight fit
The brushed chrome finish matches my hardware beautifully. It was a bit tight to screw on initially, but once seated, it feels very secure. No wobble at all.

Perfect upgrade for my Tele
This metal cap feels incredibly solid compared to the stock plastic one. The cross core design looks vintage yet modern, and it fits perfectly on my standard 3-way switch.

A: This package includes only the external metal cap and the mounting screw. The internal switch mechanism and spring are not included.

A: Yes, this cap is designed to fit standard metric and imperial toggle switches found on most Squier, Fender, and aftermarket guitars.
Q: Is the cross core design painted or etched?
A: The cross core pattern is mechanically embedded into the metal during manufacturing, so it will not wear off like paint might over time.

A: You typically only need a small Phillips head screwdriver. Simply unscrew the old cap and screw this one onto the existing switch thread.
