Excellent upgrade from plastic
If you are still using the mouthpiece that came with your rental instrument, buy this immediately. The difference in sound warmth and projection is night and day.

Smooth and consistent
I bought this as a backup for my main mouthpiece, but I find myself using it more often. The intonation is very stable, and the high notes speak easily without squeaking.

Good for classical playing
Produces a warm, rounded tone suitable for concert band and orchestra. Not quite as bright as some jazz mouthpieces, but that is exactly what I needed for my ensemble.
