Excellent upgrade for my student sax
I bought this for my alto sax to replace the stock plastic mouthpiece. The difference in tone quality is immediate. It speaks easily and has a nice bright edge without being shrill. Great value for the price.

Decent but a bit too bright for classical
While the build quality is solid, I found the tone a bit too edgy for the classical repertoire I play. It would be fantastic for pop or big band, but I'm returning it to find something warmer.

Perfect fit for my Jin brand tenor
Compatibility was my main concern since I have a less common brand. This fitted my Jin tenor saxophone perfectly with no air leaks. The intonation is spot on across all registers.

Good projection, takes some getting used to
The silver plating looks beautiful and feels smooth. The sound is much louder than my old rubber piece. It took me a few days to adjust my embouchure, but now I love the clarity it provides for jazz playing.

Great craftsmanship
The machining on this mouthpiece is very precise. No rough edges inside the chamber. It cleans up nicely after playing. Only giving 4 stars because the cap feels a little loose, but the mouthpiece itself is stellar.

Amazing response and ease of play
Low notes speak instantly, and the altissimo range is much more accessible now. The included ligature holds the reed securely. Highly recommend for intermediate players looking to upgrade.
Q: Will this fit a Yamaha YAS-280?
A: This model is specifically designed for Chinese brands like Jin, Han, and Yuan. While it might physically fit a Yamaha, the facing curve may not align perfectly, potentially affecting playability. We recommend checking specific Yamaha-compatible models.
Q: What tip openings are available for the Alto version?
