Silent operation, huge sound
As a session musician, noise floor is my enemy. These EMG actives are completely silent even with heavy distortion pedals. The mid-range punch helps me cut through the mix perfectly.

Finally got that Gilmour tone
These pickups are incredible. The clarity in the clean channels is unmatched, and they handle high gain without any unwanted hum. Installing them was straightforward since I bought the pre-wired pickguard.

Modern reliability with classic vibe

Solid upgrade for Strats
Very smooth transition between pickups. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price point, but the quality justifies the cost if you are serious about your tone.

Great sound but needs battery space
The tone is amazing and very versatile. Just be aware you need to route a cavity for the 9V battery if your guitar doesn't already have one. Otherwise, fantastic upgrade.

Perfect for the DG20 setup
Bought these to complete my David Gilmour replica build. They sound exactly like the recordings. The bridge pickup has great bite for solos without being shrill.
Q: Do these pickups fit a standard Stratocaster routing?
A: Yes, the SA, SLV, and SAV models are designed to fit standard Stratocaster single-coil routes. However, ensure you have space for a 9V battery.
Q: What happens when the battery dies?
A: When the 9V battery loses charge, the output volume will drop significantly and the tone may become distorted or thin. We recommend keeping a spare battery in your gig bag.
Q: Is the wiring diagram included in the box?
A: Yes, a detailed installation guide and wiring diagram specific to the DG20 configuration are included with the pickup set.
Q: Are the covers removable for custom painting?
A: The chrome covers are epoxy-sealed to protect the internal components. Removing them is not recommended as it may damage the pickup and void the warranty.
Q: Can I use these with passive volume pots?
A: While they can work, we strongly recommend using 25k ohm potentiometers specifically designed for active EMG pickups to ensure optimal frequency response and volume control.
