Best upgrade I've made this year
Installed these in my Ibanez RG and it transformed the guitar. The sustain is endless and the note definition is crystal clear. If you play technical music, you need this set.

Perfect for modern high-gain tones
These pickups are absolutely incredible. The clarity on the low end is unmatched, making complex chords ring out even with heavy distortion. The Omega in the bridge cuts through the mix perfectly without sounding harsh.

Versatile and articulate
I was worried they might be too specialized for metal, but the Alpha neck pickup has a beautiful, warm clean tone. Coil splitting opens up a whole new range of sounds. Highly recommended for prog players.

Great output, needed minor setup tweaks
The output is hot and responsive. I had to adjust my amp EQ slightly compared to my old PAFs, but once dialed in, they sound fantastic. The build quality is top-notch as expected from Seymour Duncan.

Solid performance, slightly bright for some
Excellent pickups overall. They are very bright and detailed, which I love, but if you prefer a darker vintage sound, these might be too aggressive for your taste. Perfect for my style though.

Mark Holcomb knows his gear
As a fan of Periphery, I had high expectations. These pickups deliver exactly that modern, polished tone. They handle drop tunings effortlessly without getting muddy.
Q: What is the return policy if they don't fit my cavity?
A: These are standard humbucker sized pickups. If they do not fit due to a non-standard cavity, you may return them within 30 days provided they are in original, unused condition with all packaging intact.
Q: Are these pickups suitable for a 7-string guitar?
A: This specific set is designed for 6-string guitars. However, Seymour Duncan offers 7-string versions of the Alpha and Omega pickups separately that would be compatible with your instrument.
Q: Can I coil split these pickups?
A: Absolutely. Both the Alpha and Omega feature 4-conductor wiring, allowing for easy coil splitting, series/parallel switching, and phase reversal depending on how you wire your potentiometers.
Q: Do these come with mounting rings and screws?
A: Yes, the package includes standard mounting springs, screws, and installation instructions. Please note that pickup rings are not included and must be purchased separately if your guitar requires them.
Q: Is there a significant volume difference between the neck and bridge?
A: There is a designed output balance. The bridge (Omega) is higher output to compensate for lower string vibration amplitude, while the neck (Alpha) is lower output for clarity. They are voiced to match well when switching positions.
