Great recording quality
Used this for a home studio session and the dual system really shines. It picks up the nuances of fingerstyle playing beautifully. Took off one star because the cable is a bit stiff, but the audio quality makes up for it.

Better than expected
I've tried three other no-drill pickups, and this is by far the most balanced. The highs are crisp without being shrill, and the lows have enough warmth. The battery life seems decent too after two weeks of daily practice.

Solid choice for the price

Installation took seconds
Seriously, if you can tighten a screw, you can install this. No tools required for the main unit. The clamp holds tight even when I'm strumming aggressively. Highly recommend for buskers who need quick setup.

A: The pickup is low-profile, but we recommend removing it before closing a tight-fitting hard case to avoid putting pressure on the sensors. It stores easily in the accessory compartment of most gig bags.
Q: How do I switch between the piezo and microphone modes?
A: The X2 features a small blend knob on the side of the unit. Turning it fully one way emphasizes the piezo crystal for a direct sound, while turning it the other way blends in the internal mic for more room ambiance.
