Solid performer

Great sound, minor fit issue

Perfect upgrade for my acoustic

A: No, the TEQ-5 is designed for non-destructive soundhole mounting. No drilling or permanent modification is required for most standard acoustic-electric guitars.
Q: What happens if the battery dies during a performance?
A: The unit includes a low-battery LED indicator to warn you beforehand. If the battery dies completely, the active EQ and tuner will stop working, but some passive signal may still pass through depending on your guitar's wiring.
Q: Can I use this on a classical guitar with nylon strings?
A: While it can physically mount, the TEQ-5 is optimized for steel-string acoustic-electric guitars. The magnetic response may be weak or non-existent with nylon strings.
