Remote access is a game changer
Being able to monitor the system response from my tablet while walking the venue floor is fantastic. The latency is negligible, and the connection setup was straightforward. Highly recommend for touring engineers.

Great update, minor UI quirks
Functionality is top-notch. My only gripe is that some of the menu structures in the new UI take a bit of getting used to compared to V7. Otherwise, it runs buttery smooth on my new laptop.

Powerful but steep learning curve
The depth of analysis this software provides is unmatched. However, if you are new to audio measurement, expect to spend a few weekends watching tutorials before you feel comfortable. Once you get it, it's incredible.

Industry Standard for a Reason
I've been using Smaart since version 7, and V8 is a massive leap forward. The stability on macOS is finally where it needs to be, and the new dashboard customization saves me so much time during live sound checks.

Worth every penny
As a freelance FOH engineer, having reliable software is critical. Smaart V8 has never crashed on me during a show. The support team is also very responsive when I had questions about licensing.
Q: Is an external audio interface required to run Smaart V8?
A: While you can use built-in computer inputs for basic demonstrations, professional measurement requires an external audio interface with low-latency drivers (ASIO or Core Audio) for accurate results.
Q: Does this license allow installation on both a desktop and a laptop?
A: Yes, a single perpetual license allows for activation on two computers simultaneously, provided they are not used at the exact same time for the same session.
Q: Can I upgrade from Smaart v7 to v8 for free?
