Solid driver for the price
Does exactly what it says. The PWM frequency is suitable for most DC motors. I wish the screw terminals were slightly larger, but jumper wires work fine.

Perfect for my line-following robot
This module works flawlessly with my Arduino setup. The encoded feedback is accurate, making PID tuning much easier than expected. Highly recommended for competition bots.

Great value, minor heat under load
The board is well-made and the voltage regulator is a nice touch. It does get warm when driving four motors at high speed, so I added a small heatsink. Otherwise, excellent performance.
Q: Is this compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO?
A: Yes, it is compatible. However, since Raspberry Pi GPIO operates at 3.3V logic and this module typically expects 5V logic, you may need a logic level shifter for reliable communication.
Q: How do I handle the over-temperature protection?
A: If the module overheats, it will automatically shut down the affected channels. Allow it to cool down naturally. Ensure adequate ventilation or add a heatsink if running near maximum current limits.
Q: What is the maximum voltage the onboard regulator can output?
A: The onboard voltage regulator is designed to provide a stable 5V output to power your microcontroller or sensors, derived from the main motor input voltage.
Q: Does the package include screws or headers?
A: The module comes with pre-soldered pin headers. Screw terminals for motor connections are soldered onto the board, but mounting screws are not included in the package.
