Great quality, shipping took time
The staff itself is fantastic. Solid construction and the right amount of weight for building strength. Only giving 4 stars because shipping took longer than expected due to the length of the package.

Good value for the size
Finding a 4-meter pole that isn't prohibitively expensive is rare. The quality is solid for the price point. It required a light sanding on one end to perfect the grip, but otherwise ready to use.

Perfect balance for long form practice

Ideal for Shaolin forms

Beautiful natural finish
I was worried about the bark peeling, but the finish is very stable. It has a great grip even when my hands get sweaty during intense training sessions. Highly recommend for serious practitioners.
Q: How do you ship a 4-meter item without it breaking?
A: We use reinforced PVC piping and heavy-duty cardboard packaging designed specifically for long poles. The staff is secured at multiple points to prevent movement during transit.
Q: Does the yellow bark peel off over time?
A: No, the yellow bark is part of the wood's natural outer layer and is treated to adhere firmly. With normal use, it will not peel. Avoid scraping it against rough concrete to maintain its integrity.
Q: What is the return policy if the staff arrives warped?
A: If your staff arrives warped or damaged, please contact us within 7 days with photos. We offer a full replacement or refund for any manufacturing defects or shipping damage.
Q: Can this be used for sparring?
A: This staff is designed for forms (Kata/Taolu) and solo practice. While white wax wood is durable, we do not recommend full-contact sparring with hard wood staffs without proper protective gear and supervision.
Q: Is this staff suitable for beginners or just advanced users?
A: While the 4-meter length is traditionally used for advanced forms, beginners with good coordination can use it to build strength and understanding of leverage. We recommend starting with shorter staffs if you are completely new to martial arts.
