Authentic Peking Opera sound

Beautiful instrument with rich history

Perfect for traditional opera performance

Excellent resonance and sustain

Lovely aesthetic and sound
The grain on the rosewood is stunning. It sounds great for Erhuang tunes. The only minor issue was the strings were a bit stiff initially, but they broke in quickly.
Q: Can this be used for modern folk music or just opera?
A: While optimized for Peking Opera, the Yueqin is versatile and can certainly be used for various Chinese folk music genres and contemporary fusion pieces.
Q: Is the case hard or soft?
A: It comes with a rigid hard case designed to protect the delicate neck and soundboard during transport.
