Solid performance instrument
Very satisfied with the purchase. The tone is clear and bright, suitable for both solo performances and accompaniment. The only minor issue is that the strings it came with could be higher quality, but I replaced them anyway.

Exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful tone
The Snow Plum design is absolutely stunning in person. The rosewood body produces a warm, resonant sound that projects well in ensemble settings. The ebony pegs hold tuning very securely.

Perfect upgrade for serious students
I upgraded from a beginner instrument to this Dunhuang 656, and the difference is night and day. The action is smooth, and the intonation is precise across the entire fretboard.

Great quality, slight setup needed
The instrument itself is gorgeous and sounds professional. I had to adjust the bridge slightly upon arrival to get the action exactly how I like it, but that is normal for high-end string instruments.
