Stunning natural patterns
Every piece of lightning-struck wood is unique, and mine has beautiful dark streaks running through it. The depiction of the Dragon Turtle and Snake is respectful to the traditional iconography. Very satisfied.

Beautiful but smaller than expected
It is a lovely piece of art with a smooth finish. I use it as a hand-held stress reliever while working. Just note that it is slightly smaller than it appears in the photos, but the quality makes up for it.

Solid wood, nice texture
The wood feels very solid and well-cured. There are no cracks or rough edges. It fits perfectly in the palm of the hand. Took off one star because the shipping box was a bit crushed, though the item was safe.

Exquisite craftsmanship and detail
The carving on this Xuanwu piece is incredibly detailed. You can see the texture of the scales and the serpent wrapping around the turtle clearly. The lightning-struck wood gives it a unique grain pattern that looks amazing on my office desk.
