Works well but instructions lacking
The part itself is great quality, but if you don't know how to solder or wire a bass, you might struggle. No diagram included in the box.

Solid construction
The aluminum plate is sturdy and doesn't bend easily. The pre-wired harness saved me a lot of time. Highly recommend for custom builds.

Perfect upgrade for my old Jazz Bass copy
The wiring was clean and the pots felt smooth right out of the box. Installation took about 30 minutes. The tone is much clearer than the stock electronics.

Excellent replacement part
Fit my Precision Bass style body perfectly after a tiny bit of filing. The tone control is responsive and cuts highs nicely without losing bottom end.

Silent operation, no hum
Replaced my noisy circuit with this one. Zero hum now when I'm not touching the strings. The volume taper is very musical.

Good value, minor soldering needed
Great components for the price. The ground wire was a bit short for my specific cavity, so I had to extend it slightly. Otherwise, works perfectly.
Q: Will this fit a Fender Precision Bass specifically?
A: Yes, this control plate is designed with standard spacing that fits most P-Bass style bodies, though minor adjustments may be needed depending on the specific year or aftermarket body.
Q: Can this be used for an active bass setup?
A: No, this is a passive volume and tone circuit. It does not include a battery compartment or preamp required for active electronics.
Q: Do I need to buy a separate output jack?
A: No, the package includes a standard 1/4 inch mono output jack pre-attached to the wiring harness.
Q: Are the potentiometers sealed or open frame?
A: The potentiometers used in this assembly are open frame carbon composition pots, which are standard for passive bass circuits and easy to replace if needed later.
Q: What is the return policy if the hole spacing doesn't match my guitar?
A: We offer a 30-day return policy for unused items in original packaging. Please note that modification marks on the control plate may void the return eligibility.
