Great starter tool
Bought this for my son who is just starting to learn drums. It's durable and the size is perfect for a desk. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the headphone jack feels a bit loose.

Decent but basic
It does exactly what it says on the box. However, I wish it had more sound variations or connectivity options like Bluetooth. Still, it serves its purpose as a mute practice pad well.

Good value for money
For the price, you really can't beat this. The metronome has multiple tempo settings which helps a lot. It's not a full drum set replacement, but it's an excellent practice companion.

Silent and effective
I can practice late at night with headphones on and nobody hears a thing. The stick response is accurate, helping me improve my technique without the noise pollution of acoustic drums.

Perfect for apartment living
I live in a thin-walled apartment and needed a way to practice without disturbing neighbors. This pad is incredibly quiet yet provides great rebound. The built-in metronome is a nice bonus for keeping time.

Excellent build quality
The silicone surface feels very realistic compared to other cheap pads I've tried. It absorbs the shock well, saving my wrists during long practice sessions. Highly recommended for beginners.
Q: Does this come with drumsticks?
A: Yes, the package includes a pair of standard drumsticks suitable for use with the silicone pad, along with the USB cable and user manual.
Q: What are the power requirements for the metronome?
A: You can power the device using the included USB cable connected to a computer or wall adapter, or by inserting 3 AA batteries (not included) for portable use.
Q: How loud is the pad when hitting it without headphones?
A: The pad features an ultra-quiet mute design. While there is a slight tapping sound from the stick impact, it is significantly quieter than an acoustic drum and is generally not disturbing to others in adjacent rooms.
Q: Can I connect this to a computer to record my practice?
A: The Yino EMD40 is primarily a silent practice pad with a built-in metronome. It does not have MIDI output or USB audio interface capabilities for direct computer recording. It is designed for acoustic simulation through headphones.
Q: Is the stand included in the box?
A: No, the Yino EMD40 is designed to be placed on a flat surface like a desk or table. It does not include a standalone drum stand, though it can be mounted on existing snare stands if the clamp fits.
