Works but dries out fast
The cleaning action is effective, but the alcohol pen seemed to dry out faster than expected if not capped tightly every single time. Good product otherwise.

Essential for retail operations
Keep a few of these in the back room. When the scale starts printing poorly, a quick swipe with the alcohol pen fixes it right up. Saves us downtime.

Good value maintenance kit
The alcohol pen works well for quick cleanups. I wish the cleaning pen was slightly larger, but it does the job for the specific Tolydo models listed.

Perfect fit for our Tolydo 3650

Simple and effective
No complicated instructions needed. Just uncap and clean the thermal head. The barcode readability improved significantly on our Tolydo 3600.

A: This kit is specifically designed for the Tolydo 3600 and 3650 series. We cannot guarantee compatibility or safety for the 3700 model.
Q: What should I do if the pen stops releasing fluid?
A: Ensure the cap is sealed tightly when not in use. If it has dried out, try pressing the tip gently on a scrap piece of paper to restart the flow. If it remains dry, the unit may be expired.
Q: How often should I use the alcohol pen?
A: For high-volume environments, we recommend cleaning the print head once a week or whenever you notice faded barcode printing.
Q: Can I use this on non-Tolydo thermal printers?
A: While the cleaning solution is generally safe for most thermal print heads, the physical fit of the pen tip is optimized for Tolydo 3600/3650 machines.
