Better than liquid cleaners

I prefer dry cleaning methods, and this pen is perfect. No risk of fluid leaking into the lens housing. The triangular tip is a game changer for cleaning around the aperture blades gently.

Great value for the price

Works very well for quick cleanups while on the go. The brush side is soft and doesn't scratch. I deducted one star only because the cap feels a bit loose, but the cleaning performance is excellent.

Solid maintenance tool

A: Yes, the Selens lens pen is designed specifically for coated optical glass. The activated carbon is fine and non-abrasive, making it safe for multi-coated lenses when used gently.

Q: Is the triangular tip suitable for cleaning sensor filters?

A: The triangular tip is designed for hard-to-reach corners of lens elements. For internal sensor filters, we recommend using a dedicated sensor swab kit to avoid any potential damage or debris displacement.

Q: Does this come with a carrying case?

A: The lens pen comes with its own integrated protective cap that clicks securely onto both ends. It does not include a separate external carrying pouch, but its slim design fits easily into most camera cases.

Q: How do I reactivate the carbon tip if it stops working?

A: The carbon tip contains embedded powder that lasts for hundreds of cleans. If it seems less effective, try twisting the cap slightly to refresh the surface. Once the powder is fully depleted, the pen should be replaced.

Q: Can I use water with this pen?

A: No, this is a dry cleaning tool. Adding water or any liquid cleaning solution can clump the activated carbon powder and reduce its effectiveness. Use the brush end first for loose dust, then the carbon tip for smudges.
