Looks and sounds professional
The chrome plate fits perfectly on my standard Tele body. The dome knobs have a nice vintage aesthetic that matches my guitar perfectly.

Great value kit
Solid components for the price. The fan-shaped switch feels a bit stiff initially but loosened up after some use. Sounds great.

Good parts, minor fit issue
The electronics are top notch, but I had to slightly enlarge the hole for the switch on my aftermarket body. Otherwise, it works well.

Smooth taper on volume
The 250K audio taper is very smooth, allowing for precise volume swells. The copper cores definitely add warmth to the tone.

Perfect upgrade for my Tele

Noise free operation
I replaced my old scratchy pots with these. The grounding is excellent, and the hum is completely gone. Highly recommend for DIYers.
Q: What is the shaft diameter of the pots?
A: The potentiometers feature a standard 6mm split shaft, compatible with most press-fit knobs including the included dome knobs.
Q: Does this come with solder or do I need to provide my own?
A: The unit comes fully pre-wired. You generally only need a screwdriver to install it, though having solder on hand is recommended for securing the ground wire to your bridge.
Q: Can I use this with humbucker pickups?
A: While physically compatible, 250K pots are typically used for single-coil pickups. For humbuckers, 500K pots are usually preferred to maintain high-end clarity, though this will still work.
Q: Will this fit a Squier Affinity Series Telecaster?
A: Yes, this control plate is designed to fit standard Telecaster bodies, including the Squier Affinity Series without modification.
Q: Are the potentiometers push-pull for coil splitting?
A: No, these are standard 250K potentiometers. They do not feature push-pull functionality for coil splitting.
