Works but screw was too long
The knob itself is nice, but the included screw was too long for my specific lid thickness. I had to find a shorter one from my toolbox.

Saved my favorite soup pot!
I thought I'd have to throw away my glass lid when the handle snapped. This universal knob saved the day. Highly recommend keeping one in the drawer.
Q: Will this fit a lid with a 6mm hole?
A: This kit is designed primarily for standard M5 threads. However, it includes an adapter that may accommodate slightly larger holes, but a 6mm hole might be too wide for a secure fit without additional washers.
Q: Is the plastic part BPA free?
A: Yes, the heat-resistant plastic used in the grip is 100% BPA-free and safe for food contact environments.
Q: How do I install this if my old screw is stuck?
A: If the old screw is stripped or stuck, you may need to use pliers to gently extract it. Once removed, simply insert the new screw through the lid and tighten the knob by hand until secure.
Q: Does this come in different colors?
A: Currently, this model is only available in the Silver and Black combination shown in the product images.
Q: Can I use this on a cast iron lid?
A: This knob is specifically designed for glass lids. While it might physically attach to a cast iron lid if the threading matches, it is not rated for the extreme weights and temperatures often associated with heavy cast iron cookware.
